Step I The Logon Process
 | Provides security |
 | Determines access rights for what functions may be performed, for
whom and by whom. |
 | Logons can be limited to certain departments and
locations. |

Step II Setup the
Master Tables
 | Add an employee master record for each person you wish to track. |
 | Assign a Department code, a Job Class and WorkRule based on
entries you set. |
 | Codes, Job Classes and Workrules are configured by you to meet
your exact needs. |
 | Assign a status and determine whether employee is hourly or
salary or use your own classifications.. |

Step III Transfer
Time Cards
 | Select a date range and location for time cards source. |
 | Interfaces provided for several access control company readers and
popular bar code and magnetic stripe time clocks. |
 | Time cards can be transferred automatically at
per-set frequencies |

Step IV Validate
Time Cards
 | Select a group of employees and produce a report showing all time
punches and time punches with errors. |
 | Select by Department(s), Work groups, date ranges, job classes and
even by employee id or name. |
 | Workrules are applied to individuals based on rules
set in the Workrule table. They include rounding, automatic lunch
deductions, differentials calculations and others. |

Errors detected include:
 | Early and late starts |
 | Approaching Overtime |
 | Missing or duplicate punches |
 | Work in temporary job class |
 | Schedule Conflict |
 | Worked on a Holiday |
Vacation and Sick time added
 | Employee time off schedules are read and any time
off that applies to the current week is added |
 | Holidays are added if granted. Special Holiday pay
may be assigned for those who work on the holiday |

Step V Correct
Time Cards
 | Using the Workdesk function, make any needed adjustments or
authorizations as needed. |
 | Each added or changed record is time stamped and identified by
logon id. |
 | Access security limits who can change what
employees and which columns. |
 | Time cards can be added when required to reflect
travel time or off-site work |

Step VI Produce
Final Time Sheets
 | Produce final time sheets to be distributed via email, internet or
inter-office mail as needed. |

Step VII Transfer
to Payroll
 | Transfer gross hours including any time off, to one of many
available payroll interfaces. Custom interfacing available or build your own
using the comma delimited format. |
 | All reports can be exported to multiple destination
formats such as Excel, Word,HTML, ASCII and more. |
 | Checks are made to assure all time cards have been
validated. |

Close Period
 | Archive time card information for future retrieval.
Current period cleared. |
